The State Budget is a fundamental instrument to achieve government policy. It describes in details the State resources and how these taxes will be spent. The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) create new version of citizens’ document called "Citizens Budget". The purpose of this document is to make available key budget information contained in the finance act for citizens.
While this citizens’ document related to the ordinance of the finance act 2020 shows a budgetary translation of presidential promises for the current fiscal year, it also highlights the prospects macroeconomic and broad budgetary guidelines for the year 2020. It is within this dynamic that citizens’ document gives an overview of the government's priorities enrolled in the General State Policy.
Furthermore, the administration has a determination to open up to citizens with joint endeavor already undertaken in terms of reforms in public administration. These efforts continue through the dissemination of the document to the wider public. So, everyone is encouraged to share thisCitizens' budget in order to achieve the goal of budget transparency.
