The budget is the principal tool used by State to manage its expenditures and resources. For this purpose, the Finance Act is produced annually with details related to the State Budget. Taking into account the current health and economic crisis situations this year, the Initial Finance Act (IFA) is adjusted to become Amended Finance Act (AFA).
Furthermore, the Malagasy State has been working to promote transparency and accountability. For this reason, the State meets its commitments to ease the accessibility of budget information for citizens.
Hence, this thirteenth edition of “Citizens Budget” is edited and it provides a simple and a concise key information including in the Amended Finance Act 2020 (AFA).
The General Directorate of Finance and General Affairs (DGFAG), through the Budget Directorate produces this citizens document in line with international standards. At the same time, we encourage each of us to share it largely for citizens to let them know the use of public funds.
